Viva España!!! :)))

am probably gonna get boycotted by a whole lot of my friends now, but i don't care! SPAIN SPAIN!!

for the first time in my LIFE, the team i support from the beginning of a tournament actually went on to win it. lol!

(something tells me to stop supporting England anymore. HAHA. kidding.)

after 44 years of trophy-drought, Spain truly deserved it :))

amazingly enough, i managed to get 6 hours of sleep last night, 2 before the game and 4 after. lol.

on a side note, i can't stand guys who think that girls watch soccer solely for the players. i mean, ya i admit good-looking players are an added incentive (hehh), but i DO love watching soccer for the game you know. irritating!

my happiest buys from this year's GSS so far :)) (not like i bought alot heh.)

pink crocs for lab! my most comfy covered shoes ever :) my mum bought the black version but she ended up finding it very uncomfortable, so now i have 2 of the same shoes but in different colours. lol. but i don't like the black one :S haha. oh and bf and i had a blast choosing the jibbitz to accompany the shoes lol! :p

Liverpool training jersey! woohoo! like finally! i'm hyperventilating as i type this hahaha. thanks mike hehe :) 35 bucks only leh! OMG i'm hyperventilating even more. HAHA.

decided not to get the away jersey cos the training one is so much chioer! ha. sab and ohmy agrees! heh. the minus point is that i can't have "Gerrard 8" printed at the back cos there's a gigarnomous Adidas logo there.

now i have two chio Liverpool jerseys :)) very happy!

anws lab has been a little bit better. haha. i guess i just don't warm up to people easily. oh well, time will tell how much i can 'gum' with my lab people. ha. i better do, or else my 4th year will be really miserable. lol!

i've realized i'm not very sociable in a way. i sometimes wonder how people can talk about everything under the sun when they only just met for like 30 minutes. this kinda people are damn impressive. haha! i get all quiet and awkward when i'm around people i'm not familiar with. i'm just simply not a social butterfly. i don't like to step out of my comfort zone, which is quite bad right. ha.

oh wells. i know i have a bunch of close friends i can always count on and whom i can be absolutely comfy with, and that's enough for me :)

woohoo SPAIN!!!! i finally watched a Euro match live (Spain vs Russia yesterday. Germany vs Turkey wasn't counted cos i watched the repeat telecast lol). i'm so gonna stay up tomorrow night to watch the finals even though i have lab on monday. HECK IT! :D

the whole world supports Germany! :( how can liddat :( hahaha.

i just finished watching Lost Season 4! many questions answered, and yet many questions left hanging, as usual. haha now i regret completing it so fast. i wonder when Season 5 will be out. and i miss Charlie! he's my fave character in the show. i cried during the episode when he wrote down his "5 best moments of my sorry excuse of a life, you know, the greatest hits".

wahahaha ok i should stop.

kl's flying off to HK in 2 weeks' time for 2 months and ohm's flying off to Beijing at the end of August for 2 years.

double sigh :(

anws i'll be starting my FYP the week after next. not exactly starting, but will be learning some cell culture techniques. i'll be having a co-supervisor (Bian, who taught us human pharmaco), so i'll be doing a bulk of my project in his lab. not really looking forward to that. oh well, i should have seen it coming when i approached peter wong to be my FYP sup, cos he's a busy man, being the head of pharmaco and all :( booo. i hope bian is good. went on a 'tour' of his lab yesterday and the people there are like damn unfriendly :S rah. the only plus point for now is that the lab is in CeLS, which is where sab's lab is! we're going to be neighbours :) ha.

going for the animal handling course in July, plus two other lab safety courses which i have yet to sign up for. and this time i can't run away any more; have to take my tetanus jab and i'm gonna do it some time next week.

i'm having mixed feelings now. i don't know if i made the right choice to do this project or not. we'll just have to wait and see, i guess. shall hope for the best :)

anws on a much much happier note, i'm going for a 3-day roadtrip to Cameron Highlands this coming Friday! with my parents and bf (if he's able to slack one day off his internship heh). it'll be a much anticipated breather before i begin my no-life life in the lab.

Cameron Highlands is my favourite place in M'sia :) not that i've been to a lot of places in M'sia, but still. haha! when i think of Cameron Highlands, vague memories of fresh morning dew, rows and rows of strawberries, scarecrows and a swing in the backyard come to mind.

have been catching up on Lost these few days. i stopped watching it completely like more than a year ago i think. ha. i think i got really sian of the series at that time cos i was watching it on tv and it was damn irritating with all the commercials and having to wait a week before each episode. lol. am at episode 16 of season 3 now (slow, i know) and i'm back into the hype. woot!

it feels really good to slack at home. haha. haven't had this feeling for a pretty long time already. i'm meeting my prof this friday, so i foresee no more slacking around in the weeks to come.

a pretty sight bright and early yesterday morning :) made me a very happy girl in lab yesterday. haha.

i find the words "Breakout Area" really funny. hahaha. so once you enter the room you get a horrendous pimple breakout.

anws i think i screwed up majorly in lab today, all due to my stupidity and my over-reliance on people to guide me. sigh.

so i was feeling pretty down when i left work today. but oh wells, such things happen so that we can learn from them. it's only when we experience the downs that we appreciate the ups more. this goes to you too ohmy :)

on a lighter note, sinhui and i are gonna start a pharmaceutical company in future and it's going to be called Toking Pok Enterprises. HAHAHA.
