kayelle's 21st :)
birthday girl + wanni's home-made strawberry and peach marshmellow cake + damn cool candle (that opens up and sings happy birthday non-stop wahahaha).
girlies here are the pics :)
and to kl and wanni: take care of your leg both of you!!
i think i'm going mad. first it was Universe, now it's EL. now when i see a random word anywhere (on an advertisement or something), i start transcribing it phonemically in my mind. damn unhealthy can omg! i'm going insane :(
and ooh we're gonna do sunsets for Universe project! i love :))
oh i watched the first episode of Heroes Season 2!! the brother downloaded it hurhur. woooot. damn exciting! :)) a few new characters (cute ones at that :p), but nah, i'm staying loyal to my Peter Petrelli, who has got a haircut! i very much prefer his floppy covering-his-whole-face hair of Season 1 though. hahaha.
haha this is apparently casting footage for the role of Peter. i think it's fake but it's damn funny!
and here's a long trailer for Season 2.
ok i should be studying instead of watching Heroes vids :S

put 4 ManU supporters + 1 Chelsea supporter + 1 Liverpool supporter together to watch a ManU vs Chelsea match = i wanna do it again :))
Chelsea is no longer Chelsea with José Mourinho gone. such a great loss, seriously!
sighsigh the boy's flying off to Taiwan on wednesday. no good night calls for 6 days :( haha.
i really should learn how to get detached from him sometimes.
ooh it's past midnight, soooo.. happy 21st birthday kl! :)) -hugs- i'm glad we make it a point to lunch fortnightly :) here's to our 5 years of friend/nutship and counting! thanks for all your insanity :p wahahaha.
full moon tomorrow (or today, whatever), so means it has been waxing gibbous these few days. right not right not. omgg i've caught the bf's syndrome. he couldn't stop going on and on about various celestial stuff back in Year 2 when he took Heavenly Maths. HAHAHA.
so happy Mid-Autumn Festival! (or Mooncake Festival. or Lantern Festival. or...) have been stuffing my face with mooncakes the past few days. yummm.
pardon me for being unnaturally high :D gtg sleep now.

ohmygosh i went for star gazing at the SRC field just now for universe. DAMN COOOOL CAN!! hahahaha. although it was a cloudy night so we couldn't see many stars. we saw JUPITER! and the lines (are they called lines??) on it! and Jupiter's four moons! coolness to the max :)) i never knew that the bright thing i always see in the night sky is Jupiter. i've always thought it was an exceptionally bright satellite. hahaha. and the red star that is always below Jupiter is the heart of the Scorpio constellation. and oh we saw the craters on the moon (our moon, not Jupiter's) too :) hee. exciting! and the moon kept 'running away' from the field of view in the telescope haha (as you know the moon is moving). wahaha i sound like a damn suah gu person. hehheh. first time looking through telescopes leh, of course excited right :) hope it won't be as cloudy during the next star gazing session.
mid-sem break is here! i can't stand how fast time is slipping away. sigh sigh damn irritating. in no time this semester will be over before we know it.
2 tests right after the break and another test the week after that. blehhh.
i took the ColorGenics test and it's pretty accurate for me!
/You are constantly hoping that your good fellowship and attitude and your 'love for your fellow man (or women)' will give you peace of mind. You need people - people around you to care for you and to show you that they care. It is this hope that keeps you going, the hope that makes you the type of person that indeed you are. Your own need for approval seemingly makes you always ready to help others and in exchange you seek love, warmth and understanding. You will always listen to others and you are open to new ideas which hopefully will prove fruitful and interesting.
You are looking for excitement and stimulation and you are ready to try anything - but be careful not to take too many risks.
You are prepared to establish a particular relationship that is being made available to you at this time. It could be a satisfactory liaison but there could be a certain amount of conflict involved -try to avoid direct confrontation at all costs.
From every direction there appear to be unwarranted restrictions on your freedom of action and this is producing considerable stress. You're really looking for independence and freedom from any restriction and therefore avoiding any obligations or anything which might prove hampering. You are being subjected to considerable pressures and you would like nothing better than to escape from them but you tend to lack the necessary strength of purpose to succeed in this. Whichever way you turn you are being frustrated. You need to be free to do your 'thing' in your own way. (<--- this whole part is so true.)
You are anxious about all the limitations to which you are subjected to at this time. You feel that you are not valued for what or who you are. You need OUT. So why procrastinate any longer - MOVE!/
take the test here!

taking a break so that i don't turn into a full-grown mugger crocodile. 2 tests coming up; universe on tuesday and pharmaco on wednesday, both of which happen to be after monday, which happens to be the 17th, which happens to be our 2nd anniversary. well done! i can imagine us celebrating it by mugging in school and having Mega Bites for dinner. wahahaha. but as the bf (and sab) says, it's the company, and not where we are and what we're doing, that matters :)) whee!
so happy early 2nd anni to you :) earth has revolved anti-clockwise around the sun twice, and it has experienced 4 eclipse seasons already. hahaha. (universe is SO eating up my brain.) i can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me, and all the little things in between :)) -hugss- i'm so lucky to have you :)
i remember i was happily telling kl last week that i don't have any tests and it was the 5th week already, so it's quite strange. and when i went home and checked the IVLE that day, kabooom i found out about the two tests in a row this coming week. see, this kind of thing cannot anyhow anyhow say. grrr.
okie study study!

who cares what people think, what people say. cos ultimately it all boils down to the two of us. just the two of us, to make this whole thing work.
i'll be there with you every step of the way, no matter what.
we'll go through this together. when we finally see our happy ending, everything will be worth it.
so this is what i wanna say to the world: just wait and see. we'll prove you wrong.
Running all the time
Running to the future
With you right by my side
I'm the one you chose
Out of all the people
You wanted me the most
I'm so sorry that I'm falling
Help me up let's keep on running
Don't let me fall out of love
As fast as we can
I really hope you make it
Do you think we'll make it?
Keep holding my hand
It's so we don't get separated
Be the one I need
Be the one I trust most
Don't stop inspiring me
Sometimes it's hard to keep on running
We work so much to keep it going
Don't make me want to give up
As fast as we can
I really hope you make it
Do you think we'll make it?
Keep holding my hand
It's so we don't get separated\
my new mantra. my song.

was reading the lab protocol for tomorrow's pharmaco lab when i came across this:
'The guinea pig will have been killed by a blow to the head and exsanguination (total loss of blood) before your arrival in the laboratory. The entire length of ileum will be removed and placed in oxygenated Tyrode’s solution.'
!!! cruelty to the max :S
why don't use rats?? -faints-
//edit: oh. i didn't read the introduction part. it says:
'The guinea pig ileum has a number of advantages which make it an ideal subject in the experiment.

is this exciting or what you tell me :D
season 2 trivia :)
` 12:23 AM
HEROES!! :)) (can click for bigger view.)
(cannot take photo with the stars, take photo with cardboard lor.)
it was quite dumb actually, they appeared on stage for like only 10 minutes. like omg. but still, exciting! wahaha. and as you can see from the pictures, Greg Grunberg (Matt) talked like 70% of the time. and Masi Oka is damn shy wahaha cute. and Ali Larter's super pretty! if only Milo Ventimiglia came. heh.
for those of you who dunno who the heck is this guy with a beverage for a name, this is him:
i can imagine the bf sighing very loudly as he reads this :p wahahaha.
anws school has been ok :) i pretty much like what i'm doing this sem (excluding Proteins.. DAMN i should have taken Developmental Bio; growing plants in lab beats drawing 10,000 graphs and doing cheem calculations hands down). sigh! it's too late now, i just have to make the best of it :S i realised the modules i'm taking are kinda tough, but i have interest in them (excluding Proteins la of course), so i hope they'll turn out fine. note to self: must jiayou!! ooh anatomy museum 'tour' during cardio lab was pretty cool. hehe! haven't had my pharmaco lab yet, but heard from the others that it's fun, so yay to that :) and the Universe lecturer is frickin funnyy!! we always have a helluva time during his lectures hahaha.
my fave scene from Desperate Housewives last episode (watch from 4:33 min onwards). sweet :)
"Are you sure about this? I don't want you to look back and regret not having a perfect wedding..."
"Well, if you haven't noticed, my idea of a perfect wedding keeps changing. One day I want white roses, and then I want lilies; first i want a harpist, and then a string quartet.
Only one thing stays constant... and I'm looking at him.
...Why would I need anything else to make my wedding perfect?"
