hahaha i'm so amazed with RasMol, the bioinfo program which allows us to view 3D conformations of biomolecular structures. was totally playing with it and rotating my structures and zooming in and out and trying every option in the program just now and then i realised i have more important things to do. Loads of it. bleh. haha for once i'm interested in something in this module! lol.
tomorrow is Wear-your-fac-tee Day! ha. in support of Xie Ziyang and since i love my fac so much, i'll be in blue tmr :) sigh should've bought one for the bf and force him to wear it in Engine. hahahaha. and there's this haunted house thingy in Science tmr.. and you get $2 off the entrance fee if you wear your fac tee. lol! ehhh nope i'm not going for it in any case, if you're wondering. no more fright nights. Ever again.
SS individual project due next week, bioinfo project due the week after, cell bio test the day after bioinfo is due, exams the week after that. i'm SO dead. rahhh.

am sick of looking at Bonferroni's procedure and F-test and Wilcoxon Rank-sum test and all that crap for tomorrow's midterm and bao's not here to crack me up, so i'm here blogging. and anws i still don't get why we have to study stats. i don't see any use of it!
just recieved bioinfo midterm results. i can foresee my CAP dropping drastically this sem. nottttt goooooood.
haha. this is gonna be a totally random post. so yeah.
it's nice to be alone once in awhile. you notice things around you more, you take your time going places, you have more time for yourself. me time.
there's something about growing up that amazes me. i think about certain things so differently that it surprises me sometimes. am not really good with words, so i'll just leave this as it is.
ooooh on a totally different note, and since i'm here, i must talk about vivocity's GV theatres! GVmax, which has one of the biggest screens in Asia or sth liddat, is quite small (as in the size of the theatre, not the screen) compared to the Grand Cathay. but the seats are equally comfy. and there's like SO much leg room you can stretch both your legs out. hahahaha. ok maybe just for me. since i'm short. wahaha.
and i wanna watch Prestige and World Trade Centre!! yes yes exams are just a month away i know.
sometimes i feel that i need 48 hours a day. i really have no idea where all the time went. exams are actually coming. like so soooooon. it's as if the semester just started!! and it's nearing the end already.
if it goes on like this we'll be graduating in no time. :(
yes i did remind you that this is a really random post.
oh i take that 48-hours-a-day thing back. i'll surely DIE if i read my stats notes for yet another 24 hours.
oh and i'm so gonna contradict myself. cos i can't wait for the holidays!! then i can properly meet up with the people scattered all around singapore. :) yayyy.

made a trip down to the new mall! really bigass huge and modern and pretty. the sky garden's really beautiful despite some construction still going on and it has a nice view of Sentosa too. i can't wait for all the constructions to be completed and every shop to be open!

goofing around at Toys R' Us. reminds me of JC days where we'd would go tampines Spotlight and play with all the funny things there.. hahaha!

back from band concert! i loved the slow sad Fantasia piece the most. haha. am proud of my friends! :) and omg PSI has reached 150. siannn. very soon we'll have the PSI index at the top right hand corner of our TV screens.

i miss the times when we were young, when the cousins and i would walk around carrying lanterns, when we played with sparklers and traced words in the air, when the brother would line candles around the porch and light them up.. we've all grown up now, the whole family still comes over for dinner, but the little 'tradition' we the kids had years ago is long gone. and man i miss those days.. :)
the stupid haze is bothering me like crazy. damn smelly and makes me all foggy-eyed! :S and it brings in all the mosquitoes! grrrr. and the babiest cousin said that NUS looked like Genting Highlands cos of the misty surroundings, which was really true. hahaha. except that the air wasn't cool and fresh :(
whee after completing two tests this week (which sucked. what's new), i can finally breathe this weekend! but not for long cos stats test is coming up. and i'm gonna waste all my time writing stupid formula sheets (FIVE of them. double-sided. omg. and exam is TEN sheets!!!) again. :(
and my brain hasn't been functioning properly ever since bioinfo test ended this morning.
and i'm currently on a mission to gain weight cos i lost a frickin 1 kg since...june i think. so if you're eating with me and i seem to not want to finish my food, please remind me ok.
and haha everybody's in love with Chasing Cars! :)))
